I keep getting questions on whether to hand shake or not to at this time... 🤝 Knowing this may be our reality for the time being, I put together some language to help politely explain why you might not be shaking hands🤗 Hope this helps in your professional and personal life! • Check out the last slide for a great hand and face posture from the Cambridge’s. Hands clasped and big smiles plus the language on the previous slides will still make anyone you meet feel welcome! Especially when not extending your hand for a shake.

Did you know we have Afternoon Tea again on the Plaza?! I had no idea, and rushed to make a reservation at @americanslangbrasserie when I found out, and it was beyond worth it!☕️🥄. The scones and lemon curd...still dreaming about them.💛 And make sure you end the tea with their lovely glass of champagne with soaked strawberries 🥂. So good probably going back again next week!

Even though we are close to the holidays and all of the upcoming opportunities to put our dining manners to the test, my favorite thing is to remind them that this isn’t just for grandma’s house, this is a life skill! These handshake lessons, properly ordering and saying thank you, and knowing how not to gross out others at the table will serve them well in their chosen professions some day or those first job internships and interviews they have coming in a few years time 😊#cfetiquette #etiquette #emilypost #emilypostinstitute
